I have known Troy for nearly 20 years but only in the last two years have I needed his expertise in selling homes - my parents’ condo in 2017 and our family home early in 2019, both in Waterloo.
Both sales had a couple of things in common - first, Troy has a process and a very good one. It starts with a meeting and comparison of similar properties followed by a meeting with an independent staging firm. Following the staging recommendations leads to professional photography and in the case of our larger Beechwood home, a 3D video tour. And, Troy covers all of these marketing costs. He has great market savvy in terms of pricing, multiple offers, showings, deadlines, conditions and bidding wars (if you’re so lucky!)
The second thing in common with both sales is that both properties sold within 48 hours at higher than asking price! Aside from his general likability, I like the fact that he’s old enough to have plenty of experience but young enough to be fully engaged and working hard for you.
You won’t find a better realtor in the KW market.

Troy is pretty much the greatest real estate agent I could ever hope to deal with. He helped us sell and buy. He combines the art of an effective salesperson with a serious understanding of data and vast knowledge of the region's real estate market. He'll tell you exactly what he thinks about a property (rather than waiting to reinforce whatever you think) and he works tirelessly answering emails from early in the morning to late at night. When it comes to negotiation he clearly commands some sort of powerful magic as we were very happy with the outcomes on both the buy and sell sides. If problems arise he is also surprisingly resourceful and will do whatever it takes for his clients. I'd echo another reviewer's comment that it was a "privilege" to work with Troy!
